SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS
Cameras are only useful if they are pointed at the right thing and still recording on the day something happens. We handle both ends of that.
Design & placement
Coverage mapped on site — entrances, registers, lots, yards, equipment, and outbuildings. Day and night lighting checked before anything is mounted.
Installation
Outdoor-rated cable run cleanly, proper mounts, weather sealing, and PoE switching sized with headroom. Every drop labeled at both ends.
NVR & storage
Recorder sized to the retention you actually want — we calculate the days of footage before you buy, not after.
NETWORKS
The camera system is only as good as the network under it. Most of what we fix started as a network problem.
Cabling & switching
Cat6 runs, patch panels, PoE switches, and rack or enclosure cleanup so the next person can read what is there.
Wi-Fi that reaches
Access points placed from an actual survey — shops, metal buildings, and older construction included.
Segmentation & remote access
Cameras isolated from the business network, management kept off the open internet, and remote viewing set up safely.
PROJECTS & SERVICE CALLS
Not everything needs a contract. New construction, expansions, moves, and one-off repairs are quoted per job at a flat price.

Installations end. Systems do not. A managed plan means someone is checking that your cameras are still recording, your storage has not filled, and your equipment is current — before you need any of it.

Plans are priced per site based on what is actually installed. Call for a quote — the site survey that produces it is free.
For homes
Homeowners generally do not need a business plan. We offer a once-a-year checkup — recording verified, lenses cleaned, cameras re-aimed, firmware updated, remote access tested — or a low monthly watch plan that adds offline alerts and a discounted labor rate. Call and we will tell you which one you actually need.
Highland Technologies provides system installation and health services. We are not an alarm company or a central monitoring station: we do not watch live video, receive alarm signals, or dispatch responders. Surveillance equipment can fail, be defeated, or lose power — it is not a substitute for insurance.
